Chiropractor
Duties and responsibilities:
Chiropractors are primary healthcare professionals concerned with the
diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mechanical disorders of the
musculoskeletal system and the effect of these disorders on the functioning of
the nervous system and general health.
Salary: Chiropractor in
the United Sates are expected to make less than $134,190.
Education: The typical applicant at a chiropractic college has already
acquired nearly four years of pre-medical undergraduate college education,
including courses in biology, inorganic and organic chemistry, physics,
psychology and related lab work. Once accepted into an accredited chiropractic
college, the requirements become even more demanding four to five academic years of professional
study are the standard.
Reflection:
I wouldn’t like to be a chiropractor because this career does not interest me.
Plus I wouldn’t really know how to work my hands.
